Chris Lupold, MD, FAAFP
"Having grown up in rural Pennsylvania with a mother who is a family doctor, I fondly remember the “good ‘ol days” of medicine. I first heard about direct primary care in 1999 and was attracted to the concept of price transparency and the ability to spend more time with his patients. I completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Bucknell University, an MD degree from Jefferson Medical College, and a family medicine residency program at Lancaster General Hospital. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Jessica, and have a son and two daughters. I volunteer as an assistant scoutmaster for Troop 83 and attend Worship Center in Leola. Alere is Latin for “to heal”. I founded Alere Family Health in 2017 for patients seeking an alternative option in our currently broken healthcare system."
Susan Mellinger, MD
"A native Virginian, I have lived and served as a family physician in Lancaster County for twenty-five years. I consider it a privilege to partner with people of all ages and backgrounds to tackle health concerns together, and I am thankful for the privilege to join Alere Family Health. I completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering at Duke University, an MD degree from the University of Virginia, and a family medicine residency program at Lancaster General Hospital. My greatest joys are being married to my husband Don and raising our three children. Together we are passionate about all things outdoors and maintaining our personal petting zoo: four rabbits, a horse, two goats, and a miniature poodle!"
Quinn Stewart, LPN
"My name is Quinn and I have been an LPN at Alere Family Health since June 2019. I recently moved from Oxford, Pa and I am enjoying living in Lancaster County. As a nurse who has been in different clinical settings, being at Alere Family Health has made me excited to be at work and I feel like I’m truly making a difference in lives as a nurse working alongside Dr. Lupold. While the patients are here and I am invested in their health and well being, in return they make me feel honored to be their nurse because they invest and ask about my life outside of “work”, which is the difference from any other office I have experienced, and it makes me want to be the best nurse I can be."
Amanda Keller-Aston, CMA
