Chris Lupold, MD, FAAFP

"Having grown up in rural Pennsylvania with a mother who is a family doctor, I fondly remember the “good ‘ol days” of medicine. I first heard about direct primary care in 1999 and was attracted to the concept of price transparency and the ability to spend more time with his patients. I completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Bucknell University, an MD degree from Jefferson Medical College, and a family medicine residency program at Lancaster General Hospital. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Jessica, and have a son and two daughters. I volunteer as an assistant scoutmaster for Troop 83 and attend Worship Center in Leola.  Alere is Latin for “to heal”. I founded Alere Family Health in 2017 for patients seeking an alternative option in our currently broken healthcare system."

Elizabeth Van Aulen, MD

"I am honored to be joining the Alere team and return to my roots in southern Lancaster County. After graduating from Octorara High School, I attended Franklin & Marshall College and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Pre-medical, and a minor in performance music. I then attended Penn State College of Medicine, followed by residency at Lancaster General Hospital. I have known I wanted to be a family doctor since grade school, and was drawn towards the continuity of care this field of medicine provides. I am a firm believer that the best medical care occurs in a setting where long term relationships between patient and doctor can be established. I am also blessed with 2 amazing children that share my love of the outdoors."

Bethany Brown, CRNP

"I am so thankful to be joining the team at Alere. I received my nursing education from Lancaster General's College of Nursing, Eastern Mennonite University, and Walden University. I was able to complete my advanced practice training in a variety of local family practices. I live in southern Lancaster county with my husband and our four fantastic children. We attend Providence Church and enjoy being involved in our local community. I believe that each patient should be given a calm and peaceful experience, a careful listening ear, and a genuine sense of knowing that they are valued."

Brandi Parry, CMA

"Hi there! I’m Brandi, certified medical assistant, and certified phlebotomist since 2015.  I have worked in family medicine since I graduated from YTI in 2015. Myself and husband, Josh, along with our two kids, Jayden and Jenasis, and dog, Willow, live in Manheim Township. We love being outdoors and having campfires. Ever since I was a little girl, I always knew that I wanted to be in the medical field. I love being able to help people especially when they are in a time of need. I am very excited to be a part of the Alere family!"

"I am very honored and excited to be joining the Alere team! Since receiving my nursing degree at Lancaster Institute for Health Education, I have worked in critical care, postpartum, wellness/community health, and healthy weight management and bariatric surgery. My husband and I are blessed with 3 growing children. We attend East Petersburg Mennonite Church and love spending time with family. I am passionate about helping individuals along their health journey and doing all that I can to best serve the community at Alere Family Health."
